I HATE YOU SUBSTACK!!!!!!!!

I tried to log in to shitty Substack on Firefox because shitty Substack will not allow me to "like" comments when I use my Opera web browser.

Well THAT wasn't going to happen. Shitty Substack popped up a shitty CAPTCHA to "prove" I am human. No matter what crappy photo I clicked the CAPTCHA said I was wrong. I could not get past the shitty CAPTCHA hell.

So here I am back using Opera where I can't "like" comments on shitty Substack - just 'cause.

Too all commenters I give a big LIKE.

Maybe it is time to kick shitty Substack to the curb. Time has come today...

Time . . . Time . . .

Actually I think for us luddites who refuse to use windows 10 browser-compliant updates, you can still hit the like button and it registers, you just never see it until you log off your computer completely and then log back in. At least that happened to me once. My windows 8 operating system rebooted in the middle of reading and liking comments and when I went back into shitty substack I saw that my like that was not showing up before was now showing up. At least it happened once to me. I just hit likes whether they show up or not. I can't fight TIME.

Hmm, I just received the warning "This page is slowing down Firefox". What did you DO?

I had to wait for the hour hand to pass 12, to see if the minute hand moved. It didn't, but the hour hand jumps ahead suddenly just after 12. What does it mean? What does it mean? I've been sensing something wrong with time too, and not just when waking up a short time after falling asleep. Or even when waking up a long time after falling asleep at the keyboard while working, or sitting here typing things like this. I think something is happening with time.

Usenet? You ARE old. I am older by 16 years, though, and can't remember when I was on Usenet, but we probably overlapped. I didn't spend much time there. Our birthdays are just a week apart, too, but you get to check yours off first.

Well anyway, Happy birthday!

Happy Pre-Birthday CM! We'd love to break the Internet. If only we had that much power to break the internet from sheer boredom - or drag - as Pug says.

Firefox hates me. Firefox has determined I am not human because I am too stupid to click the "correct" crappy photos on their shitty CAPTCHA.

It is to the point that NO web browsers work for me anymore. They all suck.

Happy Birthday to you next week! Yeah, I am old and tired. Yesterday I was just angry. Angry for no reason other than I had a sinus headache because I spent too much "time" out in the wildfire smoke coming down from Canada.

Yesterday dragged. Every day drags. I am a drag. Ugh.

What you are describing is Google CAPTCHA. Otherwise known (to me) as the "vision test". And here I thought it was designed to keep vision impaired people out.

But the crosswalks - or motorcycles! Is that a motorcycle wheel there on that fuzzed out Philipino 1970's Kodak picture. I can't tell, it could be a crosswalk though. Better check them all to be safe ... damn you!

But if you check them all you are now a BOT and not human. You are now in the endless CAPTCHA loop from hell. Kodochrome!

Happy birthday to you both!! I agree about the time problem. I am 71 and time seems to crawl for me as well. One day can feel like two days as I don't sleep well and wake up tired. I figure that's what old means....just worn slick. I went to a new dentist recently and when he walked into the room to examine my mouth he complimented me on how well I have taken care of myself. Well, if you don't take care of yourself, who will? I try not to go to Allopathic doctors because all they want to do is put you on cholesterol lowering drugs so you will get dementia and then take all your money trying to fix your brain. Scammers!! I know because I was an RN and saw the corruption first hand and left my job when I was going to be fired for not cooperating with their crimes against humanity. At least I can sleep at night with out a guilty conscience.

I don't sleep well too. It just started happening when 5G rolled out. It's weird we are all different ages and all have sleep problems. It can't just be age. I wake up tired every day but can't go back to sleep because I'm too tired. I totally agree with you about doctors, scammers and grifters - like politicians! I applaud you for your health choices Charlotte - God has made great human bodies and we need to stop voluntarily poisoning ourselves.

Thanks Charlotte! I guess time slows down when one is old because everyday is the same and there is nothing new or exciting to do. Everything is just tedious and a drag. Most people are amazed if you tell them you are on no prescription medications.

What? You take no drugs?

Crazy, healthy person you. :)

Good Morning: I almost did not open this stack. But glad I did. I had just got up after fitful sleep and very strange dreams, and made a cup of instant coffee with a shot of whiskey. That's my morning wakeup. I'm 72.

As I scrolled down and read, and saw the GIFs, I began saying "oh shit", and "oh fuck", and lol-ing. And the time thing, wow. "More time to do less and less".

I rarely go out of the house anymore. But a first cousin died and her funeral was yesterday. My sister, who is 68, drove in from NC. I hadn't seen her in nine years, since our Mother died. I met her at the funeral home for the visitation Wednesday evening. She's looking old now. She had her granddaughter with her, who is 19.

Today they are coming by my house to pick me and Mom up. We never did get her cremains scattered. We are doing that today. I can't allow them to come in the house. There is no where for them to sit, and they might not be able to navigate the clutter on the floor.

So our visiting will be done in her nice new large SUV as we drive to the old cemetery for the scattering. Normally, we would visit another first cousin near me, but she is experiencing a "week from hell", in her words. Her mother-in-law died yesterday, on her son's 30th birthday. My sister and I would like to visit with her over a couple drinks, but she is in a foul mood, and besides, she suffers from severe TDS. Other than that she is a hard-working survivor at 65. Still not sure if she took the death jab. We did not.

In passing, ( poor word choice perhaps, lol ), don't get me started on C.A.T.'s. They are worthless POS's, and pure evil. Not to mention hazardous to ones health.

Happy Birthday you two old codgers.

LOL! Nah, CATS are cool, you just have to know how to deal with them. No matter what's going on in this time slow down period we have to keep our senses of humor. Glad you can get a chuckle out of our stupid gifs.

Thank you for the birthday greetings! Sorry to hear about your mom and having to scatter her ashes yesterday. But I guess time passes for all of us, and every human being on the planet will die, it is just a matter of time, and a matter of how.

YAY🎉🎉🥳🥳🩷😖🫖💋💋 (aren't emogis fun? YES THEY ARE)

Happy birthday to YOU and keep partying because that is the only thing worth doing.

Well, and other stuff

I will be 70 in December!! I had the grand girls over last week for a few days and they loved "playing"

with my sagging arm skin ahahaaa The one good thing about being old is that in 30 years this planet is gonna be an insane asylum, or something. Well, we were forewarned in the Bible

It is friday and I have a pile of stuff to accomplish today in this crumbing big house. Hubbs and I are moving in 6 months to a brand new house down the road in a cool swinging party neighborhood, not a gated old people compound this one is blended in a regular neighborhood so I can get those younguns to help me !!!

Enjoy your cake and champagne

The olympics was a hoot - the break dancing was the worst thing ever

"brand new house down the road in a cool swinging party neighborhood,"

I need to live in one of those neighborhoods. I just live in a neighborhood of meth heads and shit heads. My dream is to have a cool person move in across from me where on a Friday night we can play cards, drink, and have funny deep conversations about this dumbass world.

Thanks for the birthday greetings! I tried to look up some of the breakdancing videos from the Olympics on the internet, per your comment, but alas the dead internet would not allow it.

No can do because NBC has been throwing copyright BS at anyone sharing videos of the demonic Olympics - just 'cause.

So demonic, and so boring. The Olympics can go into the trash bin of history for all I care.

I tried looking up the Synchro Artistic swimming because I missed the two last "duo" competitions. I just think that "sport" is adorable and fun. Doesn't that sound fun? swimming, holding your breath for 20 seconds, pointing your legs making dramatic faces, thrusting in unison your entire body up in the air without touching the floor of the pool!!! Super cute. Napoleon, I will try duck duck go. can't find it on yoootoob

Happy Birthday 🎂 God blessed you with Creativity! I admire it. Here's a small present for you, but I should have sent years ago where 55 is considered as senior at some places lol have a good birthday okay. All is not lost..I talk to nearly everyone that tries to sell me stuff, and I'm finding more think like us than not. People are starting to get it, admittedly too slowly, but really the next step is action. Thank you for all your thoughts and perseverance. ❤️

Thank you Lee for continuing to read this crazy stack and the discount info - so cool. I agree that people are starting to see the real meaning in this life, but like you said it's hard to take action. What to do, what to do? People seem to be waiting for this next (s)election to solve everything. When it doesn't (and it won't), what then?

Thank you for the birthday greetings!

55 used to be the age where one would get "discounts" for being old at restaurants and stores. But for some reason AC (after Covid) the senior discounts around me have been bumped up to age 65+. Which is weird since the life expectancy of Americans has been dropping since the Covid Me-Too-Freakout.
