A curious fact: every time I mention God in my posts (which I do just in passing or when quoting the Bible, but not proselytizing or anything), I instantly lose a few subscribers. Makes me happy, actually. I don't want these types to hang around my substack anyway. Those that stay have passed the test.

Also, I try not to talk about God that much when I comment on other people's stacks. But sometimesI just have to! I figure people can ignore me or report me. It's all good in the end.

You know what's really funny is that back in 2017 I was banned from a Catholic Answers forum for saying that Jesus would have been banned for making certain statements that the "moderators/pharisees" didn't like.

Oh the irony. Talking about God is a big trigger for many people especially people pretending to be believers.

Catholic Answers forum?! The current Pope would be proud of them.

Thanks for that!

I seems like "understand with their heart" must come first in order to be able to see and listen. As those that look and hear do not see and listen, nor understand. "Converted" meant from Judaism into Christianity, I gather.

I think more that converted means from non-believer in God to a believer. But then I don't really understand half of the gospels anyways.

You are spot on!! Your analysis of what is going on in people's hearts is so accurate. I know that when we have adversity in our life it can help us draw closer to our Heavenly Father and his Son or we can choose to get bitter and fall away into denial. Even then I know that God is trying to help us come back into the fold because we are his spirit children and loves us unconditionally.

Yes. Absolutely. I've been a believer, then a non-believer, then a 'I don't know either way' person, then back to belief.

I just saw and heard too many proofs of God in my life. Now even when my feelings say to toss God aside because my life isn't going so well, I can't do it. My eyes and ears are open and there is no going back.

What better proof of God one needs than the current times? We have the proof of the devil in front of our eyes. And all that has been said about him. So, God must be there too to contain it, otherwise the world would have been gone eons ago.

Isn't that the truth. God is a whisper most of the time, not a hurricane.

What they don't understand though is that there will always been a minority of people who will see and hear the Truth. Jesus said so. Is this small minority strong enough to stop the global 'elites'? Absolutely. And it will. It's just going to take a long time with alot of pain for all of us.
