I am part Ojibwe, Cree, French Canadian, Romanian. I know of relatives that were killed or run off because they would not become Catholics. So please remember those of us that avoid Bibles and God talk for very good reasons. Before the Covid jabs, there was the priests saying 'believe or be dead'. Have a good day, and please remember some of us do not worship Christianity.

Of course. But my stack is about Christianity. I am a traditional Catholic and my posts will reflect that. Your comments are much appreciated and of course it is totally understandable that you will no longer read it. It takes all views in this world.

It's not that I wont read it. It's just that it's presented in SO many places as a club to which one must belong, and this too should be questioned, IMO. I want folks to remember that the idea of God has been also used as a weapon, often throughout the last few thousand years or so. Before there was any bibles, were people any less worthy?

Sounds like a good substack you can start and I would read it! However I will always post my views in my writings. I hope you keep reading and just roll your eyes at the parts you don't like. We can't please everyone can we?

When I came to Portland in 94, I made a small photodoc of all the tiny wierd and other churches here, there were dozens of them in my neighborhood alone, converted houses and garages.. Most are gone now. I appreciate the symbology of the effort to create even a safe space for worship. But I never feel quite right in them, rather, just forest.

I thank God for my parents. We went to church every Sunday to learn the teachings of Jesus Christ. We knew that the Ten Commandments were the path to happiness and prosperity. My parents also warned us about not following the crowds as they had the mob mentality of darkness. So we don't mind being the outliers in society.

You had great parents. My parents were the same way. I think such views are few and far between in society now, which explains the hell we live in.

I agree with your assessment. The breakdown of the family is a detriment to society. It has become hellish!

So simple, I made a very DoctorObvious summary: “The GODless world is hell on earth.”
