Napoleon, I'm saddened to hear of the fall of so many Diocesan parishes.

We are blessed to attend at a parish that closed for only a very short time (Bishop's insistence) and dropped the mask request pretty quickly, compared to most.

Ours is a Novus Ordo church, but rather unusual in that we still have kneelers up in the center-front, and the Priest administers the Sacrament of Holy Communion on the tongue. Those wishing to stand and receive in hand, gi to the 'extraordinary minister' off to the side.

Also, our Priest faces "ad orientum" at the altar, which I believe is more correct than facing outward.

We have, once each month, a Novus Ordo Mass said in Latin rather than English, which probably wouldn't satisfy someone looking for the Traditional Latin Mass, but we love it.

Oh, and no female altar servers.

As for clot shots, our Priest helped my husband keep his job despite an employer-initiated vaxx mandate.

We love our Parish, and I am happy the hear that you have found your new Parish!

Calvinist-Protestant here, Napoleon, from at least 4 centuries of same--but in college I was blessed to be able to sing several masses (Haydn Paukenmesse, Bach B-minor) and the latter always sends me to the etherium (and has supported me --by my singing my way through the physical pain of some very nasty accidents)--I did Latin in college and graduate school, retired fairly recently from life as Latin teacher. There is something about that language. I do not get any of the same ethereal feeling from singing sacred music in French, for example.

My ex-church just sent me a check for $25 of which they stole from me. Sweet! I'm going to cash it and donate it to my new church. I'm glad God made that ex-pastor read my letter.

I came here from eugyppius's substack. I want to add that any "Christian" who is afraid to die, is really not a Christian at all. My church closed for awhile at the beginning using the online method, went back without mask or distancing requirements, but I only went back once. When I heard they sponsored a jab clinic, that was when I withdrew my financial support and didn't darken the doors again. I listen to John MacArthur (gracetoyou.org) sermons online while I exercise, which by the way, is how to keep a strong immune system. I get my fellowship from a Christian group that helps the poor in my community.

Agree. Fear of death = fear of meeting God and His son. No way. I checked the Presb USA website earlier this week---to check on, and then found, how very much they had pushed jabs--and even REFUSED to allow religious exemptions. ???? Never again. And one can assume that all congregation must be vaxxed--sorry, don't want your shedding. I, too, have been watching YouTube (e.g. Kade Young, the Ottawa Biker's Church).

Welcome! That's the way to do it. I listen to grace to you as well. When they closed us all down, many Christians went online to find other places to worship. I think that is what God has intended. He always brings good out of everything. He has exposed the bad shepherds and the sheep have found greener pastures.

Amen! You truly went on a well deserved rant there! I’m not a Catholic, but our church, like most did close for a time. And it’s struggled to regain members. Our Pastor has also been ridiculous in following CDC guidelines. Early on I suggested to him that we should follow God’s word, rather than the CDC. We are Lutherans, but during closure we actually started listening to sermons from the local Baptist church. They remained open, and one Sunday in comments about essential vs non-essential, he said, “the Gospel is ALWAYS ESSENTIAL! It was the devil’s heyday when churches closed! God’s people should have been drawn closer together in his trial, but instead our leadership fragmented the church. The only reason we are still at ours is because there has been no mention of vaccines. Some are still hiding behind their mask, and may do that forever, but so far, I don’t believe our National church body would push or support a mandate in any form. Of course the majority of our members are vaxed, like most people in our sadly misled country, it was the “right” thing to do! To protect yourself and others! And most good little Christian sheep can be counted on to do the right thing!

I appreciated your rant immensely - you said all of the things I’ve thought about and would like to say. It’s so maddening that we’ve been treated like unwashed lepers, when in fact, we are the same people physiologically that we’ve always been - whereas those who took the experimental jab have some foreign matter floating around in their bodies, which can actually alter their DNA! When I think of the potential horrors that may come to pass, I can only pray: Come Lord Jesus!

Thank you Freebird for your wonderful comment! Your church is smart by not requiring vaccines. Unfortunately the Catholic Church is all on on the passports from the Pope on down. It is sad. You are right about the devil loving the church closures, and now the pastors are truly clueless why people aren't coming back. I swear people live in a bubble. I worry about the people who are vaccinated too. The cancers will be astronomical in the future, if we continue with boosters and mandates for children. The only way out is for God to help us destroy these vaccines and make sure they are pulled from the market. I believe it is coming in the next year. By 2025 lawsuits will be abundant. God Bless!

Thank you, Lord, for the Atlanta Covid Litigation Conference--the ball is rolling!

Do you read Steve Kirsch on Substack? He’s like a bulldog - not giving an inch! I’m so encouraged when I read his articles because it makes me think that the dam is going to break, hopefully soon! Their house of cards built by lies and intimidation has to come down! I knew that there would be more deaths due to the jab, but I was shocked when I heard that life insurance claims were up by 40% in 2021! As you said, most people live in a bubble, but the death rate impact will surely make some connect the dots.

Yes I read him. Good information. It is only a question of time. But we have to be patient although it's quite obvious to us that the shots have to be pulled from the market. Money talks!
