I talked to a friend this morning who has followed the Canadian situation much closer than I. I've heard about how they've been shut down, etc., etc.. But she is hearing about an interesting thing...you might call it Revival among the Canadian people, starting with the truckers.
We (of a certain age) know that persecution drives people to God. And she tells me that in every corner of the world where people have been severely persecuted through covid, they are rising up!
I'm glad to hear that. As for when or how God will answer our prayers - I don't know. Like you, I get impatient. The other day I was pouring out my frustrations to God about how long he will allow the lies to go on and countless people to be injured or killed by the poisons they inject. And who know what other evil, nefarious plans they have? So many times in the past, evil has seemed to reign triumphant, and many millions of people have died. When those thoughts overwhelm me, I return to this:
As for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, and that at the last he will stand upon the earth.
Thanks Freebird for that information. I was thinking about Canada last night when the useless no-good-niks solidified castreau's martial law. I thought that maybe there would be a religious revival in Canada. Maybe God wants that. As far as I know Canada is much more secular than the US. When the truckers were sitting in Ottawa I was hoping they would do much more praying (like they did in Austria) than in partying. The power of the Rosary every day is unimaginable to mortal humans. Just saying the Rosary in front of the cops would have been more powerful than anything secular the protesters were saying. Rely on God. We don't have the power, He does.
Your posts really speak to me, every time. This is what I have been trying to reconcile, how this ended, and was anything accomplished? I had to conclude that I think things have happened and talk with God about his time and my time! I so want this all to end, yet my heart knows that we are really just at the beginning.
Thanks Tracy, I'm glad someone feels like I do. Sometimes we can feel like we are all alone. I just put up a post from a Canadian pastor and his sermon this past Sunday about what to do next. He is spot on. Take a look, he may be able to answer some of your questions. For me I just keep working on patience.
I asked for a bone and then I saw the burning ship of Bentley's and Porsches in the Atlantic. Hilarious. Could only come from God. A death by a thousand cuts is happening to the evil IPDITs destroying this world.
Let me know if there is anything I can do to help. I want to do more for Canada

A bone would help the morale of the troops.
I keep waiting. Something is going to happen.
