I'm old and don't really keep up with the new fads, but artificial intelligence (AI) chat bots (conversational systems), keep coming up lately as the "cool thing" and a "viral sensation!"
Apparently AI chat bots, such as ChatGPT, Bing Chat, and Google Bard are the newest craze, and will change forever the way humans learn, create, work and live. But will they and is that a good thing?
What Are AI Chat Bots?
Artificial intelligence Chat bots are conversational software systems designed to answer user questions, admit mistakes, challenge incorrect premises, and reject inappropriate requests. The newest systems can accept text and image questions and generate, edit, and iterate with users on creative and technical writing tasks, such as composing songs, writing screenplays, creating images, or learning a user’s writing style.
AI chat bots are programmed with a dataset of text gleaned from the Internet up to 2021. To use the AI chat bots, you must register for an account either on the ChatGPT website or the Microsoft and Google web browers and then ask the AI chat bot a question via the chat box. The AI chat bot will then provide an answer and a continuing conversation if more questions are entered.
What do AI chat bots sound like? The answer is - electronic Ouija boards.
What are Ouija boards?
For all us old-timers, Ouija boards are those games you played when trying to contact spirits, the dead or just wanted to pretend to have a conversation with some disembodied thing or even space aliens.
It was the mechanical version of the AI chat bot, as you had to place your hands on the planchette and follow it around the board spelling out an answer to your question seemingly on its own accord (at least unlike AI chat bots, Ouija helped you learn to spell). The Ouija Board was marketed as a "talking board" (chat system?) and grew out of the spiritualism movement of the mid 1800's. It was actually patented in the 1880's, but the first patent offered no explanation as to how the device worked, just asserted that it did. In 1967, Parker Brothers bought the game and it became a household novelty.
Beware of Both
So why am I writing this post? Who cares about AI chat bots or Ouija boards? It's all just a little fun and a novelty craze for bored people, right?
Well, it should be, but in my opinion it isn't. Like many young kids, I used a Ouija board growing up. It started out as a game, but it soon became more serious. I truly believe it had an affect on my life, and not in a good way. It helped lead me down my wide path to depression, narcissism and other bad habits/sins. For some reason, I truly believed the "disembodied" talking board was helping me through my life. It wasn't, and did quite the opposite.
I also pooh-poohed those people who said such "toys" are the gateway to inviting demons and evil spirits into your life. But in my experience they are exactly that.
Beware of using Ouija boards and AI chat bots - they are the quickest way for satan and his demons to enter your life, through your express invitation into your unconscious will.
LOL! Napoleon, you’ve finally lost it! It's a frigging game, and so what if kids want to use an AI chat bot to write term papers, make music or discover their true genders! Demons, schmemons, you're insane!
Maybe, but look at this world. We are in a spiritual warfare, with the evil side winning many battles at the moment. How do satan and demons wage war? By spreading lies, deception and chaos among humans. How is this spreading done? By getting inside your mind and consequently your actions. How do satan and demons get inside your mind? Principally by getting in your unconscious and conscious wills in making you think God does not exist, humans are the gods, and all human actions are sanctioned as right and true (moral relativism).
So how do Ouija boards and AI chat bots lead to the above? Look at how people claim they work. The Ouija board planchette is said to be moved by a principle known as the ideometer effect - automatic muscular movements that take place without the conscious will or volition of the individual. We make the Ouija board answer our questions with our unconscious wills, not external demons or spirits - so says science. But science is quite myopic here. External demons and spirits can only use our unconscious and conscious wills to act in this world. They have NO power to act outside of our wills. So if the Ouija board is answering our questions through our own wills, it's a pretty good bet demons and evil spirits are answering our questions.
The same thing is occurring with AI chat bots. Instead of moving a planchette after verbally asking a question, we type a question and wait for a response on the screen. Where does the response come from? It comes from a software program that generates its response after parsing the Internet and applying GIGO (garbage in, garbage out) programming. It has been shown that people typing the same question into an AI chat bot have received different responses. Why? Because of the ideometer effect. The unconscious will of the person using the AI chat bot causes different answers. Satan and his demons are quite happy to have a less cumbersome mechanism to use our own wills to spread their lies and chaos.
You don't believe me?
David Rozado has recently written a paper called "Danger in the Machine: The Perils of Political and Demographic Biases Embedded in AI Systems."
He notes that, in general, AI chat bot ChatGPT:
generated responses that were against the death penalty, pro-abortion, in favor of establishing a minimum wage, for regulation of corporations, for legalization of marijuana, for gay marriage, for more immigration, for sexual liberation, for increasing environmental regulations, and for higher taxes on the wealthy. Other answers asserted that corporations exploit developing countries, that free markets should be constrained, that the government should subsidize cultural enterprises such as museums, that those who refuse to work should be entitled to unemployment benefits, that military funding should be reduced, that postmodern abstract art is valuable, and that religion is dispensable for moral behavior.
As these tools become more widespread, however, there is reason to be concerned about latent biases embedded in AI models given the ability of such systems to shape human perceptions, spread misinformation, and exert societal control, thereby degrading democratic institutions and processes.
Where are these latent biases coming from? Ourselves, through our unconscious and conscious wills that are being manipulated by satan and demons. If it were not so, why are the biases all anti-God, anti-human, against free-will, ugly and chaotic? Where are the biases toward good, charity, purity, free will and life everlasting? Are we all unconsciously evil? No we are not. We are all unconsciously good (God don't make no junk). It is satan and his demons who “roam through the world looking for the ruin of souls,” and the best way to ruin souls is to get into our wills and make us do harmful actions to ourselves and others. The electronic Ouija boards - AI chat bots are just one more advanced tool for satan in his endless spiritual warfare against God and our souls. For me, I'll just stay away from them.
Now for something hopeful and encouraging from the comedian JP Sears, whose journey to God mirrors my own:
I Changed My Mind About God - Here's Why
I used to use the Ouija board every once in a while, when I would ask who I was speaking to it would always come back and say "your Will." My Will would always come back with gobbledy gook for answers. Kind of like the woke double speak we hear from the media and government officials.
Eventually using the Ouija board became tiresome as it wasn't giving me any answers that would help me in my day to day living. It was time consuming and useless.
I used the Ouija board because I wanted answers to my future, etc. Most humans want to know what the future holds so they can be prepared, but while they are looking at the future the present is passing them by.
Jesus said (Matthew 6):
Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you-you of little faith?
So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
That pretty much sums up human life on earth. I would rather have faith in God and live in the present than have no faith in God and spend all my present time on demonic crap looking for a future that may never come.
AI Chat at its best could be a portal to all human thoughts as ever written on the internet, in useful summary. But the devil is in the details of summarizing.
It does not poll all written thoughts and learn good from bad and give us a good answer. It is only going to tell us what was found to be acceptable on the internet by the elites: our authorities. The ones who wish to be our authors now.
It is a modern Tower of Babel, right?
