Merry Christmas! Wishing you blessings in the year ahead and thank you for sharing your thoughts with us this year. I love the verse you shared, John 1:5. Praise God for the Light which the darkness cannot overcome!

In this year we’ve seen so much evil exposed, but many good things have come about as well. I sincerely appreciate the friends I’ve made this year. We’ve come to know others (at least online) with whom we share a common faith. That alone is a great thing, but it’s also been a great encouragement to find others with likeminded views on world events.

God be with you Napoleon.

Merry Christmas Freebird and a peaceful New Year! I agree totally about finding like-minded people, even if only online. God brings people together, even when evil tries so hard to tear people apart. The light always comes!

Merry Christmas Charlotte! I hope someday we can meet in person. That will be my goal for the new year. To try to connect with people in real life. You are my favorite commentor. Have a peaceful holiday and fantastic new year for you and your family!

I live in Missouri near the Missouri River which boarders Kansas. The small conservative town we live in is called Weston. We are only a few miles from a state park so we occasionally see wildlife like Deer,Turkey, Coyote and Bobcat. Weston is a favorite tourist town for many people who live in nearby Kansas City and surrounding areas. My three sons and their families are all within a 25 mile radious. My hubs and I are helping our youngest son and his wife with their Amazon delivery service. My hubs is the recruiter and I help by watching their children which can be exhausting. I share this with you so that you can see a glimpse of our midwestern lifestyle. P.S. The animation was excellent in your post!

Thanks Charlotte! I need to get back to the Missouri- Arkansas area. I lived in Arkansas for a few years in the 90's. Now I'm stuck in upstate NY. Maybe my first vacation in 5 years will be to the Ozarks for some hiking this summer?

I also have family in NW Arkansas. My sister and her daughter's family moved there from the Chicago burbs several years ago. They like the change of scenery and politics. What a great idea for you to go on a vacation to our neck of the woods. I go hiking as much as possible even in the winter and feel "cooped up" if the weather doesn't cooperate so I have a rebounder that I can jump on to keep in shape. I would imagine that you have great areas to hike in upstate New York. I have not been there but the scenery is beautiful. Yes, you do need a vacation and so you must plan to come this way.

It was an 'interesting' year in which erstwhile friends evaporated and as Matthias Desmet suggested, a mass formation gripped society, family 'n all.

Thank you for your light in the darkness. It is of inestimable value and support to know there are like minded souls in this tribulation.

Laus Deo Semper

Merry Christmas Dr! Thank you for reading and your insightful comments over the past year. I encourage everyone to read Dr's substack to get a non-US perspective on all the madness. This is truly a worldwide spiritual war we are in now. But take heart! We are all winning! Have a wonderful new year, it surely will be better than the last.

Blessed tidings of joy. Ave Maria. I wrote this 12/16/21:

The thing that brings me great joy about sweet Baby Jesus is His unconditional love for us unworthy humans, is best seen by his affectionate humor in every manger figure. Here He is, arms wide Open, beaming with joy, with full Divine knowledge of His entire future, and it looks to me that He is saying β€œTA DA! I’m here just for you, as promised; rejoice with me!” Only the singular ONE true Creator/Redeemer/Renewer (Father/Son/Holy Ghost) could ever care and Love us broken souls so much. It is why I am beyond Doubt, beyond belief, with humble gratitude and conviction that no earthly challenge can break. Deo Gratias, Ave Maria, Gaudete.

Merry Christmas Daria! I love what you wrote - so true!. Jesus is the only King and nothing we do on earth will ever, ever change that. I've been praying this Christmas season that God spread the Truth throughout the world. My next prayer is that we humans start spreading humility, repentance and gratitude among ourselves. Have a wonderful and peaceful New Year!
