Today is Maundy Thursday (Holy Thursday). Why do Traditional Catholics celebrate it?
Commemorates the institution of the Blessed Eucharist (the day Jesus prepared his Last Supper and Communion, which is commemorated at each mass).
Commemorates the ordination of the Apostles.
Washing of the feet is carried out to illustrate the commandment of brotherly love (Jesus washed the feet of the apostles before the Last Supper).
Blessing of the Holy Oils (used in baptisms and blessings of the sick/dying).
What would Jesus do today in this day and age?
See the video below from Lincoln Karim, my favorite NYC videographer. Some day his truthful and artistic videos will be a testament to the insanity and absurdity of this world (note 6:25).
Yes, Jesus is for Sale. But note the bells starting at 3:17, which is not a coincidence with John 3:17.
“For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him.”
