This Is The Gospel. This Is Your Invitation.
Jesus Saves--The Simple Truth That Changes Everything
“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” — Luke 19:10
What is the Gospel?
The word “gospel” literally means good news. And this isn’t just any news—it’s the best exchange to happen to mankind:
You don’t have to clean yourself up to come to God.
You come to Him because you can’t clean yourself up.
Let that sink in.
Reflective Questions:
What comes to mind when you hear the word “gospel”?
Have you ever felt like you needed to “fix” yourself before coming to God?
The Problem: We’re All Broken
Whether you’ve been to church a thousand times or never cracked open a Bible, the truth is—we’re all sinners. We’ve all lied, hurt others, turned away from God, and tried to be our own savior.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” — Romans 3:23
It doesn’t matter how good you think you are—none of us are good enough to earn heaven. And the price of sin? Death and eternal separation from God.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” — Romans 6:23
Reflective Questions:
Can you think of a time when you chose your own way over God’s way?
What do you believe happens after we die? Are you certain?
The Rescue: Jesus Christ
God didn’t leave us stuck in our sin. He sent His Son, Jesus, into the mess of our world. Jesus lived the perfect life we couldn’t live, then died the death we deserved—taking all our sin, shame, and punishment on Himself.
Three days later, He rose from the grave. Death couldn’t hold Him. Sin couldn’t stain Him. And now, He offers forgiveness, freedom, and eternal life to anyone who believes.
“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8
Reflective Questions:
Have you ever considered why Jesus had to die?
What does it mean to you that Jesus died for you?

The Response: Repent and Believe
You don’t get saved by trying harder. You’re saved by surrendering.
That means turning away from your sin (repentance) and trusting in what Jesus did on the cross—not what you can do.
“If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” — Romans 10:9
This isn’t religion. This is a relationship with the living God who loves you more than you can imagine.
Reflective Questions:
What are you holding onto that keeps you from fully trusting Jesus?
Have you ever made the decision to surrender your life to Him?

The Invitation: Come As You Are
Are you tired of trying to fix yourself? Exhausted from running? Ashamed of what you've done or what's been done to you?
Jesus is calling you. Right now.
You don’t need a seminary degree or a fancy prayer. Just an honest heart.
Pray something like this:
Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner. I’ve tried to live life my own way, and I’ve fallen short. I believe You are the Son of God. I believe You died on the cross for my sins and rose again on the third day. Please forgive me. Wash me clean. I turn from my sin and give You my life. I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Help me follow You from this day forward. Amen.
Reflective Questions:
What’s stopping you from praying that prayer right now?
If today was your last day on earth, are you ready to meet Jesus?
This Is Just the Beginning
If you prayed that and meant it, welcome to the family. Your life won't suddenly be perfect, but you'll never walk alone again.
Start reading the Bible. Start talking to God. Find other believers to walk with you. And never forget:
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” — Romans 10:13
Reflective Questions:
What are your next steps now that you know the truth?
Who can walk with you and help you grow in your faith?
Conclusion
The Gospel isn’t just a message. It’s a miracle. It’s Jesus offering Himself—fully, freely, forever.
There’s no sin too great, no past too dark, and no heart too hard for Him to redeem.
So don’t wait. Come to Jesus.

This is how revival starts—one heart, one step, one share at a time.
You’ve heard the Gospel. Now go and tell somebody.
I so appreciate what you wrote, and this especially resonated…
“This isn’t religion. This is a relationship with the living God who loves you more than you can imagine.”
When people ask me if I’m religious, my response is that I’m a man of faith and a follower of Jesus Christ.
Thank you for sharing the Gospel, Mark!
