I am.
Tired of the same old humanistic crap day in and day out. Politics this, politics that. Masks, masks, coronovirus, covid, VACCINES!, democrats, republicans, Russia, Russia, Russia, schools, school boards, crime, crime, inflation, bank runs, freedom, tyranny, overlords, money, unemployment, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH.
Sounds like the 1970's, 1930's, 1910's 1880's, 1860's, 1780's.... Do you know why? Because all of that crap above is on the humanistic cold road to nowhere.
All that crap is the human condition of thinking this life is all there is. If this life is all there is, then why do we make it so terrible, all the time? Atheists and agnostics please explain that to me. Why do human beings make their one and only life a living hell?
How about we start thinking about this life just a tad bit different. What if... bear with me.... what if this life isn't all there is? I know, I know, radical thinking - Napoleon, say it ain't so, you believe in the sky fairy? Yes, I do. He's not a sky fairy, He is the Creator of you and I. At the moment, we are merely creatures in physical bodies on a physical planet created by God. Okay, but why are we here? To live in hell and go poof?
I say no. God says no, Jesus says no. But society says yes. So we all strap on our skis and shuffle off on the cold road to hell as we worry about all the things in life that none of us will take with us when we die.
How about we worry about the the things in life that we will take with us when we die. The things that will be with us for eternity. What will those be Napoleon? Your soul, your actions on this earth, and the virtues you obtained here. Those things will determine where you go for eternity in the next life.
Bah, humbug Napoleon. There's no life after death, so who cares! Yes there is, and you should care, very much. Read these accounts of near death experiences and tell me all these people are psychopaths. Just because "the science" has never cared to study what happens after death does not mean nothing happens. Consciousness lives on and on. Your spirit lives on and on, never to die. Where would you like to live for eternity - in hell which is the humanistic society on earth on steriods; or in Heaven which is everything opposite to a humanistic society? I'll strive for the latter, the former is too tiring and boring for me.
Jesus says:
"Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.” (Matt. 11:28-30)
What I believe Jesus is saying is that all of us creatures on earth who labor under the yoke of a burdensome society, come to him and learn how to live. Follow what he says and our life will be easier here. Jesus means what he says. Throw off the yoke of humanism and all the tiresome problems go away.
How does one do that and still live in society? By continually remembering that there is a life after this one. Thank God! When the news, your job, your children, your parents, your friends, society, and life here on earth becomes burdensome, throw it off! Turn off the news, quit your job if need be, tune out of society for awhile, forgive people for their ignorance, and turn back to Jesus. Read his words, pray to Him, go to Church, say a Rosary, find a good friend to laugh with, partake in a hobby that brings life back to you, do what Jesus says, help someone else, just breathe the air, hug your cat. When it’s hard do what Andy does below. Take on an easy yoke and life on earth will not be so burdensome.
I don't want to be on the cold road to nowhere, believing this hellacious life on earth is our only life. I want to be on the warm road to somewhere knowing this life on earth leads to a continuing life in heaven, if we just take up Jesus' yoke.
Want to join me?
Go home where it is warm truckers and stop working. Do nothing and wait on God. Seriously. This a war with satan.
If I was a truck driver I would go home and sit on my ass and never deliver another thing. Let satan's spawn learn to drive a semi, and start delivering his own diapers.
